Position Overview

Join the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time federal position offers a competitive salary range of $202,693 - $289,400 per year, Monday-Friday day shifts from 6:30am-3:00pm, and comprehensive VA benefits. Eligible for relocation/recruitment incentives and EDRP up to $200,000 for student loan repayment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia in inpatient and outpatient settings for patients of all health complexities.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluation, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthetic support.
• Develop and implement comprehensive anesthesia plans inside and outside the OR suite.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, prescribe medications, and ensure high-quality patient safety and outcomes.
• Serve as a resource for staff education, precept trainees, and function as adjunct clinical faculty.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $202,693 - $289,400 annually
• PTO: 50 days per year (26 days annual leave, 13 days sick leave, 11 federal holidays)

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship preferred; proficient in English
• Accredited ADN/BSN/MSN in Nursing; CRNA certification
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check
• Influenza vaccination required
