Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and provide IV sedation, conduction, or general anesthesia.
• Perform preoperative evaluations.
• Manage procedures including local infiltration, Bier block, regional anesthesia, spinal techniques, peripheral nerve blocks, epidural cannulas, radial artery lines, central venous lines, Swan Ganz, PICC lines.
• Support life functions, pain relief, resuscitation, inhalation therapy, fluid/electrolyte management.
• Participate in even distribution of call.
• Act as departmental resource, precept student nurse anesthetists, complete training.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship preferred.
• English proficiency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified.
• Full and unrestricted license.
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check.
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required.
