Key Responsibilities

• Preoperative evaluation and treatment planning for Veteran patients
• Administration of anesthetics, fluids, medications, and blood products
• Airway management including endotracheal intubation and bronchoscopy
• Regional anesthesia including nerve blocks with ultrasound guidance
• Pain management procedures: epidural injections, facet blocks, spinal cord stimulator trials/implants, and more
• Critical care support, multiorgan resuscitation, and intraoperative management
• Procedures like pulmonary artery catheterization, TEE probe insertion, and temporary pacemakers

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from accredited institution
• Board certification preferred; full and unrestricted U.S. medical license required
• U.S. citizenship (non-citizens in limited cases)
• Proficient in English; pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
• ECFMG certification for foreign graduates

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $310,000 - $400,000 annually + performance bonus + regular increases
• PTO: 50-55 days per year (26 annual leave, 13 sick, 11 federal holidays) + 5 days CME
