Position Overview

Join the VA North Texas Health Care System as Section Chief of Anesthesiology in Dallas, TX. This leadership role offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $400,000 per year, EDRP eligibility up to $200,000 for student loan repayment, and comprehensive federal benefits. Key Responsibilities

• Preoperative evaluation, history & physical, treatment planning.
• Administration of anesthetics, fluids, medications, blood products.
• Airway management, intubation, regional anesthesia, nerve blocks (with/without ultrasound).
• Critical care support, multi-organ resuscitation, pain management.
• Advanced procedures: bronchoscopy, arterial/central lines, TEE, PAC, temporary pacemakers.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO) from accredited LCME/AOA school.
• Board certification preferred; full unrestricted US license.
• US Citizenship preferred; proficient in English.
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, background check.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $200,000 - $400,000 annually + performance bonus.
