Position Overview

Join the Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System as a Pain Management Anesthesiologist in a large, busy practice focused on Pain Management & Rehabilitation Services. Work Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm with no call. Ideal for physicians with excellent evaluation skills and training in advanced interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate chronic pain patients and implement goal-oriented treatment plans.
• Perform peripheral joint injections, intramuscular injections, cervical/thoracic/lumbar epidurals, facet procedures/RFA, and SCS.
• Prescribe pain medications with risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, psychologists, and pharmacists.
• Provide bedside and didactic teaching for students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in data analysis and quality improvement.
• Travel as needed between Little Rock and North Little Rock campuses.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from accredited institution.
• Board certification preferred; full unrestricted US license.
• US Citizenship required; proficient in English.
• Experience in advanced interventional pain procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $335,000 - $365,000 per year + annual performance bonus.
• Sign-on/Relocation: May be available.
• PTO: 50-55 days (26 annual, 13 sick, 11 federal holidays + 5 CME days).
