Position Overview

Join the Martinsburg VA Medical Center as Chief of Anesthesia, a leadership role providing perioperative care, anesthesia, pain management, and critical care. Board-certified anesthesiologists supervise staff, manage on-call services (nights, weekends, holidays), and oversee Anesthesia Services. Full operational responsibility including staff evaluations, training, and performance appraisals.

Qualifications

• Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology
• Authoritative knowledge in Anesthesia
• U.S. Citizenship preferred; proficient in English
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from accredited institution
• Unrestricted license

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $375,000 - $400,000 per year
• Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Authorized
• Paid Time Off: 50-55 days/year (26 annual, 13 sick, 11 federal holidays + possible 5 days CME)
